Dr. Kassim JavaidUniversity of Oxford
We successfully ran a pilot with Zebra Medical Vision’s vertebral compression fracture algorithm with the purpose of evaluating how AI based technology can help increase patient flow into Oxford’s Fracture Liaison Service. The pilot was successful, as accuracy was above 90%. Dr. Javaid states, “We were quite pleased with the Zebra pilot and results, and as such are expanding our use of the technology to increase the patient flow into our FLS program in 2018 and 2019.”
Dr. Keith White
Medical Director, Imaging Services,
Over the past year Intermountain Healthcare has been pleased to receive over 100,000 AI insights on CT scans from Zebra Medical Vision. We have undertaken a pilot to create structured radiology reports and to automatically integrate Zebra AI insights into these reports within routine radiology reporting workflow. The end result is a more comprehensive report with discrete observations that will provide downstream benefits including enabling appropriate care within the EMR. Dr. White states, “Our early experience with AI insights across the Zebra portfolio averages around 90% agreement by radiologists who vett these insights in real time reading. Our radiologists are gaining a level of trust in the emerging technology and are adapting to the integration of AI results into real-time radiology reporting”.
Dr. Daniel Reizine, MD
We’ve been using Zebra’s Imaging Analytics Engine together with its Bone algorithms to measure vertebral density and assess the risk for fractures.
We have streamed 300K studies to the Zebra engine and started seeing very promising results. Currently APHP is working on analysing the data along with other clinical data.
Dr. Christopher Gaskin, MD,
University of Virginia
Over the past year UVA has been pleased to evaluate Zebra Medical Vision’s intracranial hemorrhage algorithm. The results were encouraging as the testing neuroradiologists saw value in accuracy and accessibility. Dr. Gaskin states, “Our early experience with AI insights on head CTs from Zebra is encouraging. We think the technology has the potential to both help identify and speed time to diagnosis.”
